Help me build a long lasting beast gaming/editing pc!

Hello i need help making a beast long lasting gaming and editing pc. I want it to be based around the 980ti unless thats not good. I would like it under 2k. One ssd and i have two hdds. Thanks and ddr4 and the new skylake or no ? Also i would like 2 or 3 monitors

What editing program would you use?

Video editing?

Also why not get a placeholder gpu 2016 cards will be better value for the money

You could shave off more money if you decide to not get the skylake and 980ti. Premium performance has the premium price.
