Hello everyone

For some time I have lurked these forums, especially Ps4 subforum. My question is, to build a pc or to buy a ps4 in November?
If I am going to build a pc then it wont be before summer of 2016 or whenever Pascal comes out. What are your opinions?

If your just a gamer and nothing else then consoles make a lot of sense. If you want something that's more flexible for a lot of computing needs then the joy and satisfaction of building your own rig is awesome.

Well that rig is still viable, why don't you just update it?

Go where your friends are. I've got a GTX 980 SLI rig, yet I play on my PS4 more than anything else because that's where my friends are.
I find myself getting bored very easily if I'm playing alone since I'm on multiplayer games whenever I'm online.

Unfortunately I can't convert all of them to PC so I've had to make some compromises. tongue.gif

It's all up to you, everybody has different needs and desires.

Sadly my rig passed away, only SSD made it out alive.

That is very good point, as I played a lot of L4D2 with friends in my high school days (1300 hrs gametime) but now and again I play CS GO competetive with friends.
Despite that I want play more singleplayer games (Uncharted series, Bloodbourne, Horizon and so on). Another reason why PS4 even came
to my mind, was because of bad pc ports(I am looking at you Batman AK).

If I was you I would go with a modest PC build since you do have some friends on CS:GO and it isn't very demanding and pick up a cheap used / certified pre-owned PS4 later for SP games.
Used PS4s go for about $300-350 locally with a couple of games. I'd wait it out and pick one up next year for about $250 with a bunch of dirt cheap games. smile.gif

I can play CS GO with my X240 no sweat, but the reason why I would even want to build a PC is because of Oculus Rift and that is why I mentioned summer of 2016 and Nvidia Pascal, which should bring a huge boost in performance.
