Hello,

I'm deciding if I should just keep my VG248QE (G-Sync Modified) or go with the LG 34UC87C QHD Curved that is currently on sale for $727.58 on Newegg right now which is a pretty solid deal and willing to go with that rather than waiting for the G-Sync QHD versions from Acer and Asus as I know it'll be extremely expensive.

I mostly play various genre of games; not just FPS and occasionally do audio editing. As much as I love the absolute smoothness of high framerate playing my games with no lag or screen tearing, I'm really starting to feel the overkill effect taking over my thought process in having a Titan X as I truly miss the picture quality of an IPS and higher pixels as a whole after using the Qnix QX2710 LED Evolution II a while back.

Is the video quality experience worth the upgrade to leave behind the pros of an 1080p G-Sync monitor?

Spend a bit more on the Acer XB270HU with an AHVA panel, 144hz and G-Sync instead of downgrading to a slow G-Sync-less 60hz monitor.

I appreciate the response MenacingTuba. I was looking into this monitor as well thanks to CallsignVega, thing is I already said to myself if I'm going to go that route I'll be personally waiting on the Asus PG279Q G-Sync IPS which would support an 165hz refresh rate (sux it won't support 3D vision but it won't nullify me in possible getting one).

But because I'm much more interested in getting an Ultrawide monitor specifically, I'm curious to know if the picture experience of a non-G-Sync 60hz Ultrawide QHD monitor is so good that it's worth sacrificing a lower res 16:9 G-Sync monitor to those who have experienced such. If I could I would have both like a boss lol but sadly I would have to sell my monitor in order to do so.
