Yeah, the software might interfere with the mouse somehow, I always disable the software after I configure my mice.

I played yesterday all the time with DCU on, the bug is not there anymore but it's hard to play with dcu on, my wrist hurts after 10 minutes, i really want to find a way to fix the dpi bug without using the dcu.

Put it off, raise the mouse up so the bug activates and then compensate by lowering the sensitivity in-game. It should only get fixed if you change the CPI from the mouse buttons. Just disable those from the software. I don't know how viable this is but when I tested it, the changed CPI was at least consistent.

Out of curiosity, why does your wrist start hurting with it on? Off has the highest lift-off distance for me. Kind of counter-intuitive that lifting the mouse less would be worse.

When I turn the dcu on and do the calibration after like like 15 minutes my wrist hurts, the mouse feels slow, and not fast and raw as it is with dcu off.

maybe you need a higher sensitivity

Probably but yet the sensor will still not feel as fast as with dcu off

The sensor feels so perfect with the dcu off but the dpi bug is so annoying.

I was literally seconds away from putting in an order on amazon for this mouse. Is this a major dealbreaker? Is this a common occurrence with every KPM? My choice was between this and the rival. Now I'm curious.

It happens with all KPMs but you can get rid of the bug by using the lod calibration/surface quality setting as something else than off. Certainly not a deal breaker.
