Looking for a TV for Xbox One

So currently I have this small 30 something inch 720P TV and I will soon be getting an Xbox One. I'm looking for a 1080p 120hz TV that won't break the bank. Something under $500 would be ideal. Also in the 30-40 inch range.

I would wait until black friday, you probably will get a 40" 1080 120hz in the $400 range. I like Samsung products so here are some for reference. Usually you only see 32" and 40" in your range.

32" $379

40" $549

Thanks. I like that 32" you linked. Good price for 1080p and 120Hz. Doesn't say anywhere what the response time is though. I will most likely be getting that one.

No point going for a 120hz panel for a console at the moment. The max fps for consoles is 60 and the max refresh rate they send out to the panel is also 60.

you should look more @ input lagg, thats the thing that matters with console gaming.

As above, 120hz isn't necessary due to the 60fps limit, but most sets are 120hz anyways these days.

Besides input lag, the other feature I would look at is the backlighting array. Most are edge lit, while some of the nicer sets have full array backlighting. This will give you less light bleed and usually much better contrast and deep blacks.

I'm not a huge Vizio fan, I bought them a lot years ago when it was all I could afford. They all lasted but developed niggling issues. But, there are some Vizios with full array backlighting that received exceptional reviews... The M and P series I think. Might be worth it considering the excellent prices on Vizio.

Otherwise, stick to Samsung, Sony, and LG. I got my Samsung a week before Black Friday online and that turned out to be the best deal available last year. It was cheaper a week out that even on Black Friday itself. So look early. I got mine from Walmart.com. it was cheaper than Amazon for the model I bought.

Can you recommend me something with all those features you just listed.
