Hi anyone know if https://shop.ekwb.com/ek-fc-r9-290x-backplate-black will fit on 390x trix? i only found some German video on youtube adding it to 290x from sapphire.

I just got info from EKWB

"Sorry to inform you but it will not fit. We don't have Full Cover waterblock or backplate that are compatible with your card."

O well i will have to do some custom back cooler.

ps: Any idea on cooling back of pcb? on thermal imaging tri-x was getting to 80 C

Hi. Sapphire lists a version of it's R9 390X Tri-X that comes with a backplate. Unfortunately, I haven't found any place on the net that sells it, and you can't seem to buy stuff directly from Sapphire on their website.
I'm going to contact them, or go onto their forums and try to find out more information. I'll let you know what I find out, if you're still interested. Jeff
