Hello, I was wondering what you guys think about the GA-Z170X-UD5 TH. It looks like a solid motherboard at a good price range, I like that it is mostly intel not asmedia, etron, via stuff only the GENESYS LOGIC USB 2.0 Hub for the internal usb headers which is supported natively so no extra drivers.

I am switching from a macbook pro to a desktop thats why I need the thunderbolt ports for my external drives. The only thing that I am a bit skeptical about is the bios on gigabyte motherboards is it solid on skylake? I am mainly looking for stability.

Any other recomendations on this pricerange with similar features? I would like to avoid the l33t g4m3r5 motherboards even if they are good products the whole marketing image of them ruins it for me.

Should be good, GA boards are stable and from what I've seen people say they haven't had problems. If I were to go with any Skylake board it'd be Gigabyte or ASUS.

I was also looking at the z170 deluxe from asus but it looks like it has bios problems? I would have to buy a thunderbolt pcie card as well. Ill pull the trigger on the ud5-th from gigabye and hope for the best as I couödnt find any reviews for it.
