Except this has never been the case in past cards from AMD or nVidia ... not with the R9 295X, not with the 7990, not with the GTX 690, not with the Titan Z, not with the all the prior dual GPU cards going back to the 3870X2, etc.

Sorry, I'm not going to break with what has been a decades long convention just because AMD or WCCF says so.

Again, this will most likely be the fastest single card out there until possibly nVidia responds with the dual Titan X card launches, but no, it's not the fastest single GPU card.

I'm not knocking the card, it will be a monster, I'm just knocking the term.

Well you dont need Fury X2 for be the fastest. 295X2 still the top GPU.

Ummm, there are definite semantics, when CF will be a potential issue.

A dual GPU can never be described as single GPU. Single graphics card, yes.

However, also in 3/6 games AMD CrossFire had some kind of issue that NVIDIA SLI did not.

Is it just me or is there something wrong with that image posted in the link.

The R9 295X2 has 3 of them.

Graphics card, I suppose would be the right term of phrase if being pedantic. For however long that title lasts, anyway lol
