Triple monitors on two workstations

TLDR; I need something that connects three monitors, keyboard and mouse to a switch than can switch between two workstations with the push of a button

I currently run a triple monitor setup over displayport 1.2 daisy chain (3*U2414H). I need to run all three monitors and be able to switch between two different workstations.

Is it possible to connect all three monitors to an EVGA DisplayPort Hub, then connect the hub to a KVM switch? I know traditional KVM switches for triple monitors would run me $400 on the low end and was looking to save money by using the EVGA hub + a normal KVM switch.

Anyone have any advice or suggestions for something I may be missing?

Update 1: Got a response back on their official forums. I guess it's not officially supported and there have been issues in the past when hooked up to a docking station, so I think I just ruled out the EVGA hub.

I just saw the Dell D3100 and was curious if anyone has any experience with it? I found reviews on it, and it looks exactly like what I want (I can just swap a single USB plug when I want to switch each system), but I can't find any legit reviews on the quality of the video outputs. One workstation is my work one, the other is my home PC which I will be gaming on. I can't see how a single USB 3.0 will transmit video from three monitors (two HDMI, one DP) and be playing on 5760x1080.

Update 2: D3100 is out. Since it uses a DP, it requires special drivers from Dell, which I cannot install on one of the workstations because it is a government issued laptop (which is why I can't remote desktop). Looks like I need a normal KVM switch that can support three monitors.
