Setup question tri-sli with dedicated physx card. loses physx card after reboot nvidia driver?

Thread Starter
So I am running Titan Blacks in tri sli with a dedicated PhysX card and after I reboot, the PhysX card disappears. I have to turn sli off to get the PhysX card to be recognized again, I am sure this is a NVidia driver issue, what I am wondering is if anyone knows of a good driver that will permit me to run this set-up and keep it recognized even after re-boot

any opinions are greatly accepted, and thanks in advance!thumb.gif

Why in seven hells would you bother with a Phsyx card with that setup?

Do you actually get any benefit from the dedicated PhysX processor? The Titan Blacks should be more than capable of handling that, especially 3 of them. biggrin.gif

Oh man, that 780ti is garbage, you need to get that out of there. I have a 750ti that would be more appropriate, and I'll gladly trade it for that lousy 780ti. tongue.gifbiggrin.gif

Damn I was hoping it would be something silly, like a gtx 260, just for laughs, but I figured it would be something over powered for dedicated Physx.
Anyway, I'm not sure if you can have tri sli and dedicated Physx, I know you can have two cards in sli and a third as dedicated Physx, as I have done that before.
Kudos in going balls to the wall though, if I had that kind of money I would extravagant silly nonsensical stuff like that too, I'm jealous.
Damn, I need your kind of money, can I have some money, or a job? Lol.
I read that it is possible, maybe it's just a driver issue? Is the Physx card connected on the bridge, maybe it needs to not be connected?
SearcHing for info on this brought up a person who wanted to do tri sli 480s with a dedicated 560 ti as Physx, talk about power requirements!

Once I re-enable it it works, until reboot, I think that I may just have to deal with it this way, I have it on a 3 way bridge, and I have a 4 way bridge laying around, guess I could give it a shot. I actually got most of this on a deal, plus I'm a self employed IT consultant so I guess it helps too. It is a bit over the top crazy I do admit however, what's bad is I killed a titan just before I went 3 way, go figure. So now I have an expensive art piece lol
