The tech giant demoed its HoloLens technology Tuesday at its big Surface and Lumia hardware announcement event. Microsoftie Dan McCulloch, wearing a hoodie and HoloLens augmented-reality headgear, took up a virtual gauntlet. It appeared around his hand like a cool effect from a sci-fi movie, and the audience cooed in amazement, no doubt flashing back to early "Tron" memories.
The spatial awareness shown in the demo gives me hope for full warehouse sized VR arcades yet. Combat sims as intense as a round of paintball or better? Yes please!

This brings up alot of questions like how will it handle fast movements and hows the view field of it, do you only see holograms infront of you or to your sides also?

From what I've heard from people that have had a chance to try it out is that it's as amazing as it looks with the only downside being the field of view is currently pretty narrow.
It's crazy, opens a whole new range of possbilities, can you imagine lightsaber fights ?
.
Love how the robots can work with the environement/sofa.. can you imagine that in a warehouse with custom textures and stuff ? lol
Other It's cool but, let's say you wanna make an fps game, curious how the environement could be displayed .. I'm sure they will work on it and in a couple years we'll be even more amazed !
