We have to assume that the 390 is between the 290 and 290X? It seems that this game relies more in the more cores of the 290X because it gets so close to the 390X than in the bandwidth speed.
390x=290x with just some more tweaks and better bin.
But, yea i am also surprised, how this is a DX11 game only, and the 980 Ti is neck to neck with the FuryX and the Fury. And still impressed how the 290x beats the 980.
I wonder what wonders we will see for AMD DX12 for this game.
DX11 only.
But we gotta check on other CPU's as well, to see how is the CPU overhead. And we didn't got any CPU usage graph. Also, this are probably reference models, as nowhere is specified the opposite.

Good point. I'm waitng to see a dx12 patch, launched game, and non-reference bench. Hope to see those frame numbers go drastically up. On a side note the beta looks pretty fun. Very restrictive in terms of what can be played, but enjoyable. Battlefront looks to be this years Titanfall.

It is what it is. I don't expect players to punch in hundreds of hours in the game, but whatever game time played will be enjoyable. Battlefront is the appetizer before the main course anyways.
happy to see ill have no trouble at max settings for 1440p on my 980Ti classy
