[Guru3d] Starwars battlefront beta benchmark - Page 35

750 Ti FTW, 1426 MHz, 5400MT/S RAM. Ran it at High with easily getting 60fps.

I'm just going to continue to ignore minimum requirements... sheesh.

For anyone interested :

Ultra preset, 1080p :
2015-10-09 20:58:18 - starwarsbattlefront
Frames: 29444 - Time: 551978ms - Avg: 53.343 - Min: 36 - Max: 81

Ultra preset, no AA, Ambient Occlusion set on High, 1080p
2015-10-09 21:10:03 - starwarsbattlefront
Frames: 30256 - Time: 552118ms - Avg: 54.800 - Min: 38 - Max: 77

Hoth Walker map, about 9-10 minutes play time on both runs. The minimum dips were inside the Rebel base, where there's lots of stuff, smoke, heavy fighting etc. (for a short period of time only). It ran at about 55-60 most of the time, which you can see above.

GPU pegged at 99% usage, all 6 CPU cores utilized, their max was 100%. Game looks AMAZING, plays amazing as well (performance wise).
I'll play it on Ultra when I get it, possibly turning off AA because I expect Endor and stuff to be more demanding.

Pretty happy with my system. Though I want space battles. Not Star Wars Battlefield. Feels like BF.

EDIT : My 960 G1 is on 1429 core, and 7010 memory.

Rolled back the driver but now Geforce Experience won't open... ugh... all for a boring game I don't really want to play...

-EDIT- finally got it working; ~80 fps looks to be the average maxed out at 4k with SLI working, which isn't too shabby

I've had to stick to PS4 more than PC so far. The menus between matches generally freeze up for up to 10 seconds at a time, every ten seconds :\ Latest AMD drivers and all. I'm assuming my gpu is downclocking between matches since it thinks menus are fine without gpu power perhaps?

And in game, whenever I try scoping in the game cycles in and out of zoom 3 or 4 times before actually staying zoomed in. Makes it nearly impossible when it comes to trying to take someone out before they get me at range with the sniper tongue.gif

You need over 60 FPS for good experience.... So hitting 80-100 FPS on AVG and minimum 60-70 FPS.

I wonder if I can run it at 80-120fps @ 1080p if I lower some settings. In a game like that, I prefer FPS to image quality.

BTW, were those benchmarks running on Windows 10? If this game utilizes CPU cores and HT so well, then Windows 10 is ought to run it faster than Windows 7/7/8.1.

Its better to think of aa relative to pixel density rather than resolution. On average, aa isnt really needed for 4k due it having higher pixel density on average. But on large 4k devices, you'd still want aa

Game doesn’t appear to be very CPU intensive... Only 25-30% CPU usage at 80 average fps in walker assault for me (maxed 4k). It does use all 12 threads.

Allow me and the console community to laugh at this. You need 30 FPS for good experience. 60 FPS is for smooth gameplay.
