Gsync has been a major let down for me. There are times where I see it working right and have been impressed with it (Witcher 3). Most of the time it isn't any better, if not worse then what I'd get without it.

Honestly my experience with Gsync reminds me of my experience with SLI. Great when it works right, but, as likely to make things worse. Seeing how there are still tons of issues with sli, that really doesn't give me hope for the future of Gsync.

***If I alt-tab while in that game, the game goes to 60 fps. As soon as I bring it back to the front it drops to 18 fps. Same issue that has been back and forth depending on the driver since windowed mode was added

Agreed, from the reviews I've seen online, they made it sound like it's the best thing ever made since sliced bread! In reality, it's one problematic gimmick.

Even after 10 driver updates, my G-Sync is always on even though I set it to be enabled or full screen apps only. nVIDIA Says this is by design, then why are there two options in the NVCPL?? one for Windowed + Full Screen and the other one which is the default one set to full screen only

I found this online as well
http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/92524/en-us

win7, 8, 8.1, and 10

you will need to mod nv_dispwi.inf though

NVIDIA_DEV.13BC = "NVIDIA Quadro K1200"

I went back to the old driver for now.

Yea, Gsync is a mixed bag. It can be amazing, but, it seems to be a pain more often then not.

this might be a stupid question, but can't g-sync just be turned off?

I wasn't saying it with as much passion as the bold made it seem. Just added that to my last post so figured I'd make it stick out. From what I read this has been an ongoing problem. I've only owned my Gsync monitor for a month or two. When I first got it I think the current drivers had the same issue. Driver 355.60.

Reverted back to the previous driver for now. Don't like doing it but for now seems like a good choice.

So guys any experience with 780 (crashes,bsod)? I still use 347.88 (rock solid) but i want to play star wars.

Do you recommend 355.82 from late august or something else?
