Thread Starter
Hi there,

i have a few questions about scaling in the nVidia driver, i got a 780 from a friend which will replace my R9 270X.

The only time scaling is somewhat interesting for my is while playing CS:GO since I'm playing on 720p.
In the Catalyst there was only the option for GPU-Scaling, and with a 16:9 resolution it wasn't necessary to use it either way, 1280x720 was stretched perfectly over the whole screen (Benq XL2411T).
Now with the GeForce installed there are - as you know - two options Display and GPU scaling. My first questions is: Was Display scaling enabled by default on the Catalyst (as long as GPU-Scaling wasn't enabled)?

I also noticed that while using Display Scaling with the nVidia Card the Picture Quality was noticeable more blurry, while with GPU-Scaling it has the same quality like it had while using the old AMD Card.

Maybe i will Edit this Thread when i come home since iam at work and can't provide any more Details/Screens whatever.
