Sealed 750D water chilled/TEC case. - Page 3

its kinda like that but i mean the amount of heat your trying to cool you want to cool 600watt to 0*c you need 1200watts of cooling power and 2400watts of heat to remove roughly so you'll need a huge power supply no pc one will even come close to it and you would need like 10 480 rads to get 30*c delta lol

smile.gif I looked at that pic too, actually saved it lol. Totally agree with everything but I don't need to remove 600 watts of heat, the chiller does that for me. I will place the peltier just before the cpu. The 500 watts of heat is removed from the 4c incoming. No heat added inside the case or to the water chiller, the hot side on its own external rad loop. Oh and I am in Canada so I can put the rad out the window biggrin.gif
If you run many peltiers in a row like 10 or 20 or more as the water travels down them does it stop cooling before 4c?

Yea it won't get colder then the cold side gets just because there's 50 of them it gets to the coldest it can but then goes there 20 more for nothing and you won't gain anything from 4*c to 0 lol

If the incoming water on the hot side is dropped 5-10c what happens to the cold side? Does it get colder? I have read where people record -20c on the cold side.

Some times it dosnt affect delta much just uses less power

Is that what stalling is then?
yea probably I've never tried supercooling a tec before I've always wanted them around 20-30*c I might have to stick one on my -30 water chiller biggrin.gif

I think it may work but tricky. After the hot side is cooled and runs through an matched rad, a length of coil could be put in the chiller reservoir, cut the length to desired temperature you would like to lower the water to, or a correct sized radiator, then back to the hot side.. A -30 chiller you say?
