Its the 2GB minimum graphics memory. Remember tho, a 550ti would romp a 580 on some stuff, that was the whole point.

How can this game require a 780 / 290X? The graphics are... not very good. I mean, the minimum system requirements are pretty much on par with GTA V's recommended system requirements!
Comparing a GTX 550 ti to a HD 7870 is far more ludicrous, borderline insulting.

Again, it's about the 2gigs. A 7870 is a 6970 which lines fine against the 550ti.

As to the gaming requirements of GTA V.... GTA V requires a 2 year old laptop without a keyboard... lol.

2GB minimum? Why not a GTX 660 ( slightly slower than a HD7870)

GTX 550 TI = HD5770/HD7750 (they all come in 2GB models)

the last contender for 2015 GOTY before Witcher 3 takes it

I wonder how 290X x-fire is going to handle this at 3200x1800.

It all depends on if Bethesda is going to support multi-gpu.

AMD should be on the ball this time. When Skyrim came out it took WAY TOO LONG to get XFire support. I had to play on a single 6990M.

It's not really up to developers to support multi-gpu, but rather GPU companies (NV and ATI).

^ and in fact, is probably the perfect single card for 1440p.

I have a 6 core X99 Intel 5820k which should be fine cpu-wise (benchmarks 30% faster than 4790 on Passmark) but it looks like my r9 280k won't cut it for recommended settings redface.gif

Any recommendations? I don't want to go spending tons of money but would like to see all the eye candy biggrin.gifthumb.gif

I'm running eyefinity 5760x1080 and would like to do that in Fallout 4 if it supports it.
