I'm kinda stoked for the inevitable "walking dead" mod that'll be released. We all know it'll happen. xD

Simple...I will youtube others playing the game at that resolution and dream thumb.gif

The only reason the requirements are so high is because they are trying to fool people into thinking its not a reskinned fallout 3 when it so obviously is. When people see the high requirements they'll think, "wow, maybe bethesda actually put some work into their upcoming game this time around. Maybe they actually created a modern engine suitable for the year 2015."

What? What do you base that on? Do you have any evidence that Fallout 4 is just Fallout 3 reskinned?

Apparantly you haven't seen the trailer. The game looks just like fallout 3 with better textures and some better animations. It's reskinned. There's no way what was in that trailer requires a modern i7 and gtx 780. It's a farce.

Edit: To your next post: I don't follow/watch/read game media. My source is me watching that trailer and knowing bethesda's track record.

Ok I think I found your source:
https://www.vg247.com/2015/08/05/fallout-4-looks-more-and-more-like-a-recycled-fallout-3/

That's one person's opinion, and dozens of websites quoted it.

This guy is right:

I've heard of way too many reference 290x's hitting 90+c while gaming. I'm just trying to save you from throwing your $220 out the window. Keep an eye on your VRM temps. The reference design is bare bottom minimum cooling just to make the card work out of the box.

is it possible that a GPU was designed to handle 90+ C with no problems? Have you read of 290x dying due to high temperatures? I'd imagine with bitcoin mining there would be TONS of posts if these GPUs were dying due to high temps since bitcoin usually use 100% GPU 24/7
