1-2 second disconnect?
What am I missing?

If you mess with specific settings in the software it breaks the mouse, it randomly disconnects and reconnects or stops responding.

After like a week of testing things one by one in the software, I've narrowed it down to the light settings.
If I leave the lights to cycle, meaning I didn't touch the light options at all after the fw update, it works ok.
If I set the brightness to 0 and blinking speed to 0 it works ok also.
But if I set it to one color, doesn't matter if it blinks or not, the sensor stops responding for a second or two randomly.

So if you've disabled the lights at the beginning of using the mouse chances are you haven't come across this problem.

I just need a couple of people to validate that there is a problem like this.

We're supposed to re-run the firmware update, yeah?
I disabled the lighting on my Edge, I'll let you know how that goes.

Re-running the updater sets everything to default. Removes other variables that could interfere with the results. So yeah, rerun it if you can.

I'm doing everything I did before when it was malfunctioning and I cannot get it to malfunction if the lights in the mouse are off, I'm spamming the side buttons, clicks, scroll wheel, etc, this all used to make the mouse malfunction and now I can't get it to malfunction at all. No disconnecting/reconnecting, I'll keep playing and see though.

I disabled the leds right away and never had any issue with the mouse.

I had brightness set to maximum but set blinking to 0, no malfunction or any issues here.
