if the metal's edges are smooth well cloth pads may be fine but still it's stupid and pointless no matter how you spin it

Ok the reason for added weight on this mouse is due to US/European market. Americans and Euros need their mouse to feel like a brick in order to be a "quality" product.

Google Translated from http://www.4gamer.net/games/316/G031633/20150908086/

"Even HORI, but told me that he understanding that nonsense to heavy devices that work of inertia at the time of operation, some of the users of the US and European markets, since people say the mouse of about 100g as "too light" is not a few, this time the It is so tailored to the needs."

HORI thinks its ridiculous just like everyone else in this thread but they have no choice if they want to appeal to Western market.

I'd prefer ~90g but 105g is ok for this kinda shape.

I guess since g100s was more popular in the eastern countries than western ones

Interesting that the cable is angled upwards too.

Is it possible they'll have an enthusiast edition with less weight just for us? biggrin.gif

Just BOUGHT one, off Ebay (love them so much) cheers.gif .

So the Hori EDGE 101 is coming down to Convict Town, can't wait to feel it's Stainless Steel Feet. At least will never need to ever worry about buying any HyperGlides for this mouse.

Interesting, please tell us what you think about the mouse thumb.gif I'm especially curious about the propriety switch, if it is just a marketing joke or if there really is a noticeable difference.

I am still worried that the feet would wear out my Steelseries Dex mousepad, since it has a rather uneven surface.

If their special "Switch' is a bogus item, quite easy to de-solder them and replace all with any decent Omrons or Huanos.

Mainly bought this mouse for their Stainless Steel feet. I'm a fetishist for mouse feet yessir.gif .

But what if their switch is actually faster? Tho you won't notice it because its bound to have firmware with high debounce due to being made in china switches rolleyes.gif
