But why is eveyrone going for SMA8 ?

I have plans for a server and already have a TH10A. Wanted to do a tower build this time around and keep all the hard drives in the lower chamber.

Eventually I'll get an S8S as well, but, sadly that will be much later.

S8S has passed into EOL now but I believe you can get an S8 and convert it to an S8S with some extra parts.

So did anyone order a SM8 white yet?

In the Flex Drive Bay options that they have, do you guys know what do they mean by "120m.3 (360) Mount with Solid Bay covers" ?
Are the solid bay covers for the 120.3 (360) mount area? Or it's only for the rest of the bay except that 360 mount area parts? I'm confused.

Also, does anyone knows the dimensions of the Acrylic window for the SM8 case?

Caselabs,

I am trying to buy a two-tone TH10A now but it won't connect to PayPal. It says to "try again in a few minutes" yet the PayPal site is up and I just did a PayPal transaction from another website.

Placed my order for a white SM8 today - $779 including shipping. Got VAT on top of that to come. Think I need a stiff drink.

I didn't understand the 120.3 solid cover option either so played it safe with the ventilated version instead.

I've got 5-7 weeks to get up to speed with this watercooling malarkey! Bring it on!

I had the same question on my TH10A and it was answered here by a Caselabs employee.

He indicated that the 120.3 are screened so you can mount a radiator behind it and everything above it is solid (in the Case of the default TH10A it is a one double 5.25 bay and then 2 single 5.25 bays on the top.

I hope this helps. I can't check out with 20 things in my cart. Argh....

So behind the 120.3 solid option there's no ventilated grill? If I were to stick a 360 radiator in the front, would it be better to go for ventilated bay covers or solid?

look at image 16/20 on the SM8 to see the difference. The solid large plates (3 on the bottom) can be removed to mount a 360 rad.
