Window top, window with rad top, extended top, pedestal maybe, . . . so many choices . . . maybe one of each, lol . . .

Best thing about the 8 week wait, is that it'll be about cool enough to work on it by the time it gets here . . . July and August are brutal down here in the tropics.

Darlene

Are you sure you want, boring, plain ol' black & white?

Why not get white and gunmetal? White outside and Gunmetal inside, with the Flex-Bay arrangement in Gunmetal...

What do you think of that?

Already done the white / gunmetal combo . . . which didn't really impress me as much as I had hoped

Time to do something different, and the gunmetal color seems more of a brown to me, where I'd like it more of a metallic charcoal grey. . . .

So Tropical Domino, (black and white) it will be for the S5 . . . unless maybe I get two to mix 'n match. (after all, it is the last of the two tones)

Nice lighted midplate mod with all windows top and front, hybrid cooling with a small rad, a plate type heat exchanger, and a chiller.

Should be interesting to see what all will fit in an S5

I save my best creations for CL cases . . . . thumb.gif

I am trying to debate my friend is interested he is wanting me to buy a case for him but wanted to know, if the colors that the Bullet series will be available in the two tone in the other chassis or just the bullet? If not I am thinking gunmetal grey and black. What are the best color schemes you recommend for him.

for the outstanding BH7, oh man I would go two tone limited extreme edition gunmetal interior white exterior. The most beautiful combination imho. thumb.gif

I understand it's the last two-tone run, but how about full white? It this also being taken off the menu?
It’s their small physical facility and lack of manpower and business savvy that is lacking, no disrespect intended. Doesn’t take a Masters in Business education to grasp that simple fact. Although I’m glad one finally dropped into the scenario, a welcome long overdue addition.

Nothing is lacking in brilliance in design ideas or capabilities (except allocated time to create), we all know CaseLabs (green text italics) is the planet's most talented and premier creator and designer of computer enclosures, one excessively bright individual and extremely astute artist and mechanical engineer, artists need time to fulfill their visions, they need to delegate business (as difficult as that may be) to others whom hold those varied and much different talents.

We all want only the greatest success for CaseLabs, and we all want to spend more money at CaseLabs.

Every possibility has been taken off the menu because of CaseLabs lack of business savvy and ability.

The more they **** up the more we suffer.

I have to disagree with you iBruce, and I'm actually surprised at how aggressively hostile your tone seems to come across as. It has been mentioned several times that - and I'm paraphrasing here - you can't just wave a magical wand and suddenly you have an extra shift of fully trained workers running at the levels of quality you demand, or be able to open a newer, larger shop where either some or all of the production is moved to.

Things I distinctly recall Jim mentioning over the past year as being done specifically to combat queues (despite the fact that the amount of orders/demand continues to increase a great deal):

- hiring of an entire additional shift last year
- permanent removal of custom parts orders almost two years ago
- custom colour orders were moved from a "let's talk about it" to "more than likely not happening"
- giving some of the other staff more sway/power over decisions
- two tone cases moved from regular availability, to every two months (and now will be discontinued altogether)
-Several cases that were not selling well and had been shown to be that way for some time were discontinued.
- They are now working with another powder coating shop in order to increase the capacity they can handle - I think this one bugs Jim the most, since he believes rather strongly in doing everything in house, and it comes across as a matter of personal pride for him.

Also, despite how things were we did get the thw10 and the bullet line, plus three additional colours for the bullet line that will be rotated out every now and then.

Or, in my words I'll put it this way: you can't wave a magic wand and suddenly have twice the floor space to work with for machinery, not to mention all the permits in place allowing you to do such and actually run your business. On top of all of this, the machinery used is the type where you can't just walk into Grizzly with a wad of cash and they deliver it the next day, it can take time. And to top it all off, Jim has mentioned multiple times that he prefers to use assets he already has and really REALLY doesn't like taking out loans.

Moving a shop is not only an insanely difficult ordeal to go through (even if it's just offloading some production to another facility), but they're also based out of California which is known for having rather strict controls on anything, but especially the industrial sector, and Jim has already mentioned that even if he were to find a suitable space to move to (as it sounds like he would prefer to keep everything under one roof) getting the required permits would take several months at minimum, and that's before you take into consideration the months of preparation of the space that would come afterwards (floor plans being a big one, but so would having all the power sorted out).

I'm pretty certain that there has been a ton of discussion and consideration regarding every possible option that could be on the table, and then I'm sure when Carla came back to prominence she had a whole stack of even more ideas due to having a different perspective on things, and from what little has been posted about them it sounds like a number of them were rather tough decisions to make but would help overall in the long run.

As for my own personal opinion on the removal of the two tone program, while I won't lie about being frustrated about such, I also understand two things:

- I technically don't have a dog in this pony show, as I've only ever expressed interest in a case (I swear, I am saving up, but other things have priority), but so far have not made an actual purchase yet.
- the decision was made with a specific goal (as well as the big picture for CaseLabs) in mind.

Or, in short I was rather frustrated, but after a reasonable amount of time thinking things over I've found alternate ways of going about to get what I want. Sure, it will mean a higher cost for the second round of powder costing at a local shop but I'll live because Illusion Rootbeer is an insanely sexy colour to me.

@iBruce You're being too hard on CL, better language and style could have been used! I very disappointed as well puke.gif, but would not have trashed the best case maker around!

@Case Labs Will replacement parts and accessories, for Two Tone cases still be available? i.e. all colors available... Also, what about single color case? Will they still be available, in all colors, from time to time?

Thanks,

Mike

What color scheme would you use for a Asus Rampage V 10 motherboard. My friend picked it up today for his build and wants to know what color schemes work the best for his board.

Any Suggestions just let me know trying to help him so I can put his order in on the day it launches so we can make a sick two tone combo case for his build.

Might be having another build to work besides my own that I am currently doing... oh the joy this will bring for me smile.gif
