Full size Define S allows pump/res mounting in it. I can take a picture if you want. Just have yet to do any mounting into it yet.

One of the aspects of ordering a two-tone case is the instructions on the order sheet ... "Use to specify two tone color scheme if selected" ... and they include something like 'specify the parts that are black and we'll assume the others are white'. I just know that as soon as I do this, I will have missed a part that I wanted to be black (ie PCI Cage) and will have to reorder frown.gif.

My preference would be to have an exhaustive list of parts and then individually mark each as Color #1 or Color #2 ... so ... is there an exhaustive list of S5 and S5 Pedestal parts?

Here is what I have so far ...

Are there any that I have missed (excluding screws, bolts, clamps, etc).

EK, Bitspower, XSPC and so on all use whatever mounting points they want, so as a case manufacturer, you would need to have a ton of different holes for all of these items. Once you did that you'd have to pray they didn't change the mounting points on new products. The only universal way to mount a pump/res in a case is with a 120mm fan mount adapter.

Even with these mounting pieces, the case doesn't have holes for 120mm fans to mount them to so I still have to drill holes. I don't wanna mount these to a Rad.
I want to mount the Res next to the right of the motherboard, onto the back panel, if you know what I mean.

I just can't believe that for a $500+ case that is supposed to be "Modular" and with a lot of addons stuff, and still doesn't have anything or a solution for mounting a Reservoir?

Interesting. I don't want to get into talking about other companies' products, but the rear wall of the case is so cut up looking. I feel like if I was building a system I'd prefer to make my own holes so it looked cleaner. Just my opinion though. If I was just getting into water cooling and had no tools I can see how a person would like this concept, but for our products I don't think it fits the brand.

We have thought about coming up with a list, but then we realize a fair number of people would need images to go with the list which would be a huge job for something we only offer in very limited runs. What we normally suggest is looking at the case chassis sections here and understanding the parts that way.

That fact that the cases are so modular is the answer to your question. They are designed to be flexible and allow more freedom on the build layout. Check out our build gallery. They're not "cookie cutter". Most cases have only one (maybe two ways at the most) to lay things out. The trade-off is that a little more thought and work has to go into it, but the results are usually well worth it.

@Kevin - that was one of the pages I was looking at ... but even that page misses something huge ... the motherboard tray. It also excludes the power panel.

I guess I am hoping for someone to take a look at my lists and highlight any stand out items that I have missed.

On the flip side, when I order my two tone (you don't do three ... do you?), I will send you my version of the complete list and pay you (via the case purchase option) to review it for completeness biggrin.gif.
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Given the other discussion around this post, I also added a mythical part to the S5 list.

I was only referencing this mount because it was the only universal mounting solution for mounting a res in a case that I was aware of. To get back on track though, we do have a res mount option for the SMA8. You still need to drill you own holes, but you would be drilling into a mount and not on the costly divider wall. In most situations only 2 holes need to be drilled and is much easier than one might think if they haven't done it before. Here are examples of a res mounted like you want. All of these builds would have had the builder drill holes beside the motherboard.

I realize it's not a complete list, but it does help to identify some areas. Most people say something like "White interior and black exterior" or "white exterior and black interior with a white motherboard tray". It's rare when a person lists every individual piece as a specific color. If we feel there is something missing, or not understood about a color scheme we will contact the customer.

The only things I noticed was the top cover was missing and it's a 140mm cover plate, not 120mm. Oh also there is no res mount. We don't do "tri-tone" cases. It becomes very hard to keep track in production. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Haha... I should have guessed that tongue.gif
