Three 99X all had the same problem. The X chips can driver fault in a AMD driver update and lose access to ALL USB ports.

Make me thing of my cousin asus mobo 970. All usb port are gone crazy.......

He boot and the pc says error 2 keyboard detected no mouse.... Plug the mouse somewhere else... Now no keyboard and 2 mouse.....

Heading up to Microcenter now for a little stroll through their inventory. You recommend me picking up that open box Sabertooth for $143? I'll grab a chip too so that'll take 40 bucks off of it. Or is that high-end MSI board worth a good look?

I passed on the open box Sabertooth. It was suppose to be "complete" and was far from it. It look like it had been tossed in a dumpster. The only item in the box aside from the board was a heavily scratched driver disc.

Iwould have offered them $50 for it. MC's salespeople are usually game for a little bit of haggling.

I'll head up there in the next few days and see what they'll do. It's at $143 now and I'd hate to pay over $80 looking like it does. I can live without the accessories, but I'd kind of like the I/O shield. However, if the price is right, then I'm good without it.

Hmm, that one seems to be sold out. What about one of the Cryorig coolers?
