Mousemat Reccomendation

Thread Starter
I am looking to get a smaller mousemat for use when I need extreme accuracy and good sensor detection. (Osu and RTS games mainly)

Currently, I am using a mousemat with artwork from InkedPlaymats, which works fine as a surface but sometimes the mouse misreads due to the colors (I think anyways)

Demands:
Cloth mousemat (machine washable)
Rough surface (I like the texture and a more gritty feel)
Size: Not that important, I can fit any size on my desktop. I would preffer not having one of those gimmicky super massive pads however, as I like having my keyboard sit on the desk itself.
Thickness: If its thick, I want it large enough to rest part of my hand on comfortably. If its thin, it doesnt matter a lot.

At a budget of 100~ usd, I am looking for something top-of-the-line. It will be the mousemat of choice for whenever I play anything competetively again.

EDIT
Forgot to say that I am using a roccat kone millitary, thus an optical sensor. I honestly have forgotten which sensors work for which surfaces.

Artisan Hien is right up your alley. http://www.artisan-jp.com/mousepad_all_eng.html
Or one of the new Zowie pads, I like the G-SR alot. I have a Hien that I used to use too.

what mouse are you using?

My most recent mat purchase was actually the Roccat Taito Control and it's quite rough so that's an option as well. Only had it for a day but I'm liking it as most my other pads are smoother/faster than it.

I've been considering purchasing this mat.. it looks like it has all the right features at the right price.

http://www.amazon.com/Reflex-Lab-Stitched-Waterproof-Smooth-15/dp/B00WY1BUSO/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1444757745&sr=8-3&keywords=reflex+lab

I've never heard of this company before, but it has decent size (Not too large or small), stitched edges, rubber base for non-slip, 5mm thick so it should be durable and comfortable. All black. Very small logo that's placed out of the way. Solid price + free shipping. Claims to be water-proof (maybe for a slight spill, but who knows) and they also claim it's machine-washable. It's gotten a ton of great reviews. They also offer an extended version should you change your mind about that. I see no reason why it wouldn't work extremely well with your KPM.

If you do buy it, please let us know how it is. I think this could turn into quite a popular pad for it's price, and supposed quality.

The price for the Artisan mat was unbelievable, so I grabbed one from there.
4,500 Yen to get a mousemat with shipping? It screams low-quality, but I will give a shout when it gets here.

If its terrible or has a weird feel, I'll let ya know and buy the Reflex Lab one instead smile.gif

To be fair some Artisan mousepads track like rubbish and collect dust easily.
