Large ambidextrous mouse Cougar 400/450M - Page 6

I got the black Cougar 450m since today, ordered by caseking Germany.

135mm aren't right. The correct length is about 123 to 124 mm.

It's a pretty decent build with a good decent Quality.

Settings work fine, Firmware updates work fine and the sensor speaks for itself.

i told you already that the 3310 is the best sensor of 2015 cause he is pretty almost flawless stable and offers technically everything you Need.

the omron clicks are also really nice to handle and even on m1 and m2.

tapshots are no Problem at all in csgo.

People always wanted a sensei with an optical sensor and you would making the right catch with the cougar 450m if you wanted that.

the ergonomics and grippossibilities with this mouse are also great.

and the mousewheel is also an ace.

what more can I say?

The mouse is fully worth every Cent you spend on it and worth a try for everyone wanted a optical sensei with slight shapedifferences.

For me this mouselength is still rather a fingertipone than a palmgrip cause my Palm rests at the pad while playing.

edit:

ah and the onboard Memory works also flawless so you just set everything you want and just deinstall it.

Nice. sounds promising. thanks for your sharing your thoughts on this guys.

the lenghts is really just 123-124 mm? oO
135 would be a little too long for me anyways tbh.

Hey @mousefan,

how do the clicks feel for you. like do they feel cheap for you or anything like previously posted?

No issues with the material of the mwheel at all?

can you toggle between 2 dpi steps or does it have to be 3 steps?

is it possible to in- and decrease the LoD manually. if yes, to what height max and min?

(Questions can be answered by anyone who has the mouse or knows something aswell^^)

Thanks in advance.

edit: one thing i have to add after taking a closer look on the pictures. do the right side buttons come in the way when palming? mouse5 button looks like its very far to the front and the edge to the front of it looks like it stands to far out?

The clicks are excellent and equally on m1 and m2.

the whole build of this mouse doesn't only look flashy to catch customers. it a really good decent mousebuild and makes a good Quality Impression.

no Problems with the mousewheel.

and you set the lod with the Software in three step from low mid to high.

i have it mid by Default and it's already really low from estimated 1 to 1,5 mm.

How is the feeling of the weight? 105g for a 125mm mouse should be a bit too much, but how does it actually feel?

I think Cougar 400M (A3090) and 450M (PMW-3310) use the same shell. So it might be possible to put the non glossy 400M shell on the 450M shell.

I think Cougar 500M (A3090), 530M (PMW-3310) and 550M (S3988) use the same shell. It looks like a nice large palm grip mouse.
