I think it's just perspective. The new one is closer to the camera, and the old one looks to be at an angle which would make it look shorter too (notice the hexagons around the sensors, the one on the right looks kinda stubby even though it shouldn't).

Maybe, but it looks like he's holding them both on a hand. I find it hard to believe that such a short distance difference can alter size so much. Tried to hold few thing like this and couldn't get such a big difference smile.gif

Probably my mind is playing tricks. I like G502 but wanted it to be a little bigger, so... biggrin.gif

It's really a shame if only G shines. At least wheel could have LEDs. Or even better, something similar to new Kova or Tyon.

Well, the Logitech Cube for one. I only remember because I was there LOL.

G502 went back up on the US site pretty quick after I mentioned it was gone. Weird.

Why Logitech?.. Why?!

Are you kidding me? Having the ability to choose your color scheme is great! I haven't been able to buy the G502 because of the blue highlights. Comparing this to Razer dooesn't make any sense, this is a positive for everyone and a step-up for Logitech.

Yeah, If the build quality remains the same (or imrpoves) and price level too there is no issue with adding RGB backlighting.

I really dont see the big fuss with lights in a mouse. They annoy the hell out of me if they are "breathing" or super bright or whatever. Your hand will be covering it most of the time anyway so what's the point? Logitechs blue G is fine - You can even dim the damn thing which is the first thing I did.

@TheBDK personal preference as side buttons are.

At the end of December I noticed german Amazon listed 2 versions of G502 (german and UK version) Proteus Spectrum aka RGB version.
