Would rather wait until Redmond finishes doing all it's testing upon the naive shills and guinea pigs before anyone should ever contemplate installing this onto their systems.

I don't own Borderlands 2 so I can't comment on that, but every game I have runs well.
The Linux ports I have used that aren't Source Engine based are worse than console ports. I admit that the DirectX hegemony is part of the problem. That doesn't change the point that Linux ports need a lot of work.

I'm not saying who is to blame, or why the issue is the way it is. I am simply saying the issue exists.

Or even SP2, because currently it's so buggy even the dodgiest Linux System is far more reliable than the current garbage offloading from Redmond servers.

Buggy? I have win 10 installed on about 5 computers. Not a single issue with any of them. It has been more solid than 8.1 was or 7.

I am on insider so problems are part of the game.

I do not think it is THAT bad, but since it is on my gaming system, it is just used for light tasks(web/music) and some games.

Clearly it must.

I personally have not had too much in the way of issues with 10. Other new releases have similar issues.

If you are insider you will see many more interesting bugs, but also get some cool features.

Most of the ports I've played are decent quality and I've only heard complaints about a handful of ports, not practically all non-Source games. Hell, Civ V runs smoother on Linux for me, as does TS3 in wine.

Civ 5 would run smoother. The Linux port lacks some of the higher end graphics that required DirectX11, lacks AA and despite having a button for it lacks VSync (I could see how that might have been patched back in at some point).
