I am not a very tech savvy person per say so I cannot say weather or not my rig will run this game so I am here to ask for some assistance in guageing weather or not my system will run this game.

OS Version

Recommended: Windows 7 64-bit
Processor

Minimum: Intel Core i3-4160 @ 3.60GHz
Recommended: Intel Core i5-4690K @3.50GHz
Memory

Minimum: 6 GB DDR3
Recommended: 8 GB DDR3
Graphics

Minimum: Nvidia GTX 480 (or higher)
Nvidia GTX 570 (or higher)
Nvidia GTX 670 (or higher)
Recommended: GTX 960

My Specs are as follows

OS Version

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit

Processor

AMD Athalon II X 3 445 @ 3.11 GHz

Memory

4 Gigs but am upgrading to 8 gigs hyper X ram

Graphics

Asus HD7770 -DC-1GBD5-V2 AMD Radeon HD 7770 Video Card - 1GB, GDDR5

I am looking to meet the minimum specs. Not really gunna be able to spend on much to upgrade. Also incase it matters at all my cpu plays rising thunder fine which is also on unreal engine 4 which sf5 is going to be run on. If that info helps at all. I just want to know if currently or if after I upgrade my ram if I should be able to play this game fine ?

Not entirely sure but your CPU might not meet the minimum system requirements. It will run the game but do not expect outstanding performance. Hopefully you will be able to maintain 30 fps with low to medium settings. Upgrading your RAM is a good idea. Your GPU is ok but rather weak as well.

Well as far as the Graphics card goes the minnimum recommended card is 1.5 gigs and mine is a 1 gig so I figured it would be ok on med to low settings. As I am not looking for it to be spectacular graphics wise. As long as I can play the game without it affecting my FPS then I am fine.

The Cpu is a big problem I mean is it because its not at 3.60 GHz ? what if I were to OC it ? could I possibly make it near that many GHz ? again I'm not savvy in tech so Im assuming this is why your saying it does not meet the min requirement considering mine is a 3 core and I3 is only a duo core. I seen some I3's on Ebay for extremely cheap would it be better than my X3 it was only at 3.06 GHz tho compared to my 3 running at 3.11 GHz

OK even with the inadequate ram ? i figured with only 4 gigs of ram that it would be unplayable because I would use up all my memory running the game causing it to crash basically im going to pre order it and see if my rig can even play it at all if not im going to get a refund and upgrade my pc im only looking to join the beta for now. and I really want to upgrade my PC anyhow and the actual game doesnt come out till next year.

So I still have time to upgrade it.

This game looks substantially better on PC btw I've been playing since yesterday. The netcode even though its in beta is better than MKX and Ultra Street Fighter 4 by quite a lot.

The icky bluish/washed out backgrounds that are on the PS4 version are not their on PC when I have every graphic setting set to High except post processing and display depth, with those settings its the best looking Street Fighter ever made and I've played every title in the franchise.

edit-
at 1080p with the above settings this game uses about 1350 graphical ram and about 4098 system ram when I have 3 Firefox tabs, MSI Afterburner and Steam all running.

The waterfall stage still kinda sucks the background is still mostly blue they need to add some more colors to it and the music..... it sounds like main map music from Wild Arms or Suikoden, they need to change that, this is a fighting game not a JRPG.

The rest of the stages backgrounds and music are decent or good.
