IMHO AMD hasn't been in competition with intel for 5 years. The one to worry about is team green.
The reason N_V is nvidia is for and because it's green, is envy. They are the ones to watch out for.

This is truly a sad day! sad-smiley-002.gif

AMD going down would mean we, the consumer, will lose but that has been the dream of many on these forums for a long time anyway.

The "dream" for some here is more a desire of being right to be the fanboy of one side. For once and for all, the eternal debate will be settled. And the eternal pricing gouging will continue, progress will cease unless you are willing to spend 1k+$ for the flagship.

If AMD goes down then i will just have to find a different hobby. I am thinking of body building.

Yep.

It's already begun. You can see it in the GPU market.

I love Fujitsu they just haven't sold any products really in America in a long time.

Fujitsu is a long time running company that has never sold itself out. They have quite the powerful company. Maybe not the most powerful, but they are genuinely a force to be rekoned with. I miss the days when they did SLR cameras. Perhaps with the aid of AMD's technology we may see better footage processing microarchitecture. Also Fuji is on good terms with Nintendo and Sony.

Yes Nan Tong is the Chinese department.
