Woa, so it's possible to make a good 3320 sensor even better? Is great for cs, could they make it great for quake 3/live? I could have an ecstasy.

Eh, sorry for late post, working and dying at work, also got Cougar 550M with 3988 sensor for testing in games like crazy.

Bump test maybe later

Photos of quite ok daylight time (+ flash on), also was lazy to open up more mice, they are all in original boxes nowadays, but will do a test G303 vs Xornet II if you want someday >: P , couldn't wake up earlier : B

two requests:
1. dpi measurements vs. ruler. given the malfunction speeds at 1000dpi, i strongly suspect that the lens is similar in magnification to that of the azio exo1's lens (which reduces dpi by ~15% compared to the actual lens)
2. can you post a mousetester "xCount vs Time" plot (or preferably log) of a medium speed (1-2m/s) swipe at 1000dpi, 1000hz?
anyone else want to help do these?
anyone? tongue.gif

I should have been clearer. 7-8ms worse than one of the best performers in latency is fine for me. That difference is negligible in my book. In fact I used the WMO for years and found even that level of latency perfectly acceptable.

If CM can improve then great. They might even manage latency lower than the original. If they do then it's undeniably a good thing even if I doubt I'll notice the difference!

Whether you can feel it or not it would be lame if the Xornet 2 was slower than the original Xornet. It is supposed to be an upgrade after all.

I did some bump test with an EC-1A the Xornet came out at 4ms faster than it on average.

I just think there are some upgrades that matter more than a small change to click latency like fixing the god awful cable and centering the sensor!

But I'll say again any improvement is a good thing. Also mice can be quite subjective so if 7-8ms matters to you then that's fair enough.
