the deviations from "1000hz" are due to the operating system.

drops to "500hz" while the mouse is in motion are the problems firmware can cause.

just use mousetester, move in circles for 5seconds, and plot the interval vs time. adjust data point start and data point end to focus on the part corresponding to when the mouse is moving. if you see points randomly jumping to 2ms, then the firmware might be problematic. if it's just noise around 1ms, that means the mouse is fine.

This is on the new firmware at 1000 hz.

yup that's indeed a firmware issue.

Oh hey look its my post.

On a serious note I still cant believe they haven't fixed it yet
post #424 of 714
So...did firmware 1.03 actually do anything besides introducing polling rate instability?

Honestly as far as I can tell by myself it works flawlessly. Occasionally I have to reinstall the firmware to fix stutter, but that's it. The only evidence I have that it isn't perfect is a very slight drift upward when making circles quickly.

I got this mouse today, my hand size is 21cm. The right side lacks grip support with only my pinky finger on it, it hurts as well. How do you guys even aim with this mouse? mad.gif
