Cooler Master Xornet II *Review - Page 44

I've had this mouse for about a month now, and have zero complaints. Performing flawlessly, except for a slightly rattly scroll wheel. It took me about a week to get used to the shape with 18.5cm hands.

I might get sinned for this but I've actually reverted back to the Spawn. I just found it easier to hold/grip and more comfortable which is my #1 priority in a mouse. Waiting for Spawn 2.

Whats the difference between Xornet and Spawn on terms of shape?
Oh hey it's finally making it's way into stores in the US. It's also still has sketchy firmware after how long? Typical.

Damn, you make me look like a Razer optimist and that shouldn't be the norm here on OCN puke.gif .

Maybe CM needs a lot longer to develop their firmware than most other manufacturers. Just be patient and good things shall be delivered to all who wait.

"Develop" actually means paying someone else to do the task which most companies do these days. Suspect only Logitech and Razer do their own work in house but that alone won't guarantee perfection in the area of mouse firmware.

Particularly with you lot here on OCN axesmiley.png .

I dont know what did you guys expect from some cancerous chinese company
post #440 of 714
"cancerous chinese company" ?

LoL, you do not realize that EVERYTHING is made in china ? Including logitech and ........ EVERYTHING ?

Anyway, xornet 2 is good mouse, shape is awesome, weight is super low, sensor is ok. Especially for everybody here. Please don't fool yourselves into thinking that you "topfrag" with one sensor and "bottom frag" with another .

It's ludicrous. Because everybody here simply not good enough to even notice a difference.

"polling rate has been downed from 1000 to 930 omg so bad" , guys are you serious ?

Anyway, about the Xornet 2, i CAN make it malfunction, on the pad i'm currently using, if i try. Low sens, about 1 meter for a 360, however when i'm playing it does not happen. AND chances are that on a different mouse pad i could NOT make it malfunction.

Click latency, i did bump test with finalmouse 2015, it seems they have reduced the click latency with this latest firmware . Finalmouse is still faster, by about 8 ms . However, bump test is pretty pathetic so you really never know for sure.

Finalmouse supposed to have least latency, and best sensor, yet, i can't hit anything with it.
With the Xornet 2, and its "office sensor" , i am much more in control

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U9CcoSdmfEo

With finalmouse i am lucky to get 65 hits instead of 85.

Can't wait for SPAWN 2 though, and i would love it they would make it software-less.
