So far, it's been pretty good. The 1.0 firmware seemed pretty **** as far as LOD and tracking speed. After the upgrade to 1.03 and installing the software, it feels pretty good at 500 DPI, medium LOD and 1000Hz. I can't easily get it to skip I don't notice any significant problems with the tracking.

However, every time I reboot my PC, the LOD resets to low and I have tracking issues on certain parts of my mousepad (old QcK+). I have to go back into the settings and reset it back to medium even though the software shows that it still is medium for some reason. Anyone else have this issue? It's a minor inconvenience, but it would be nice to not have to deal with it.

We all have this issue... We wait a new firmware with fix it!

I welcome myself to the club tongue.gif

here's mine biggrin.gif

loving it so far, don't care about the 1cm LOD nor the altered side grips

shape is as lovely as ever, pretty reliable for low sens too ( 750dpi 500hz )

my only gripe so far is the polling rate, with 500 and 1000hz settings I get 479 and 963hz average respectively

should i downgrade to an older firmware ?

just remembered this mouse again, anyone tried speed test with mouse tester after fw 1.03 update?

Firmware 1.03 = Some mouth breathers told LaView to add rgb spectrum lighting effects instead of fixing up any real issues. Oh and they broke 1000hz polling in the process.

For REAL?

How could they apply any type of RGB lighting to a scroll wheel? There are no other lights anywhere else on the Xornet 2, unless I'm blind.........

wouldn't get this mouse if you have a black pad or black desk, mine skips like crazy pretty disappointing coming from the spawn, going to try and repair my spawn cause this is damn near useless.

So is it consensus that I should avoid the Xornet II until firmware issues are fixed?

I'm looking to replace my DeathAdder 2013 that is getting double-click issues on the LMB but I'm on a budget this time. Looking for something <$50 - $60 CAD and the Xornet II caught my attention at first with its price.

You can get the Deathadder Chroma for $60 CAD from amazon right now. If you price match at bestbuy, you can get it down to $56.

I actually went back to my G303 because of sensor tracking issues on startup with firmware 1.03 even though I prefer the shape of the Xornet II. The Xornet has been relegated for laptop use and for some reason tracking issues seem to happen less with my laptop.

If you guys want to downgrade to 1.02 and can't find the older firmware pack because coolermaster is retarded and can't keep the older firmware pack listed on their download page....
