@CtrlAltel1te
two requests:
1. dpi measurements vs. ruler. given the malfunction speeds at 1000dpi, i strongly suspect that the lens is similar in magnification to that of the azio exo1's lens (which reduces dpi by ~15% compared to the actual lens)
2. can you post a mousetester "xCount vs Time" plot (or preferably log) of a medium speed (1-2m/s) swipe at 1000dpi, 1000hz?
Quote:
Also did some swipes at 1000 and 3500 dpi/cpi but would never recommend the 3500 step seeing the max malfunction speed will get under 1 meter per second.
omg who the hell writes firmware for these odms. steelseries and now this???
it takes like 3 minutes to get 12bit motion reports working........... can their mcu's not multiply or add numbers or something?

but hey at least this (and possibly another really big issue which i'm not sure of yet) can be fixed in firmware updates. lolzowie

This same partnership that gave us the Spawn. Which managed to have a random bug where it would lag users computers if they pressed "CAPS LOCK" too many times repeatedly in a certain time frame.

No idea but It took me a while to figure out that I was having the problem because of my Spawn -_- I didn't frequent OCN back then and I almost formatted windows before I discovered the forum posts.

If I knew I'd be goofing around with it right now, same thing with the recon, i would love to screw around with the led lights affecting the polling rate bug.

You can download firmware 0.57 (released 10/26) now, but the firmware updater reports the firmware installed as 1.00. So, idk, but no...not replacing 1.00 with 0.57 ;D
