Cooler Master Xornet II *Review - Page 62

I wonder if the inside of these could fit in my storm spawn..... I love the look of the mouse but it does have the left click issue that is annoying... may have to pic one up with some new feet and give it a try.

I found something new... Driver for Xornet II on the download page of CM site...

Link... (_http://gaming.coolermaster.com/en/products/mice/xornet-ii/)

Very interesting...

Added: It's the greatest fix of firmware bags! applaud.gif

Might be them starting a fresh for their new modular stuff and... stuff

why is there no changelog or announcement in the official forums?

and what is "portal" supposed to mean? and why did the firmware version go from 1.04 to 0.51?

why was a completely new firmware version released when 1.04 is only a few days old?

so many questions

edit: nvmd it's only a cooler master program that automatically updates all of your products to the latest firmware

Is it me or is this mouse smaller than the spawn?

Got one today.
And it is slippery as F@ck! Can't even click properly, or click-hold because my fingers slip towards the front button lips.
The rubber grips feel like they're greased, lubricated. I don't understand... ***, even the grooves in the rubber feel basically like a gliding channel for your thumb. Trying to squeeze this bad boy makes my thumb slide towards the ridge of the forw/back buttons.
Scroll wheel also bad - heavy, hard. Not like the soft and quiet one on the X I.
Does this get better with a little time once the skin oils and other secretion have settled on the surface or this is basically how it's going to be? My Xornet I feels like it's coated in Super Glue in comparison!
Help! smile.gif

I do agree the rubber material on the original Xornet was superior in both grip and feel.

Not only superior... it feels like they fused the oil plastics with gecko tissue into one bizarre object-organism that defies both reason and senses.

Btw - does it get any better?! I need to know, I think I might return it. On the same note, I ordered the castor as well and it is the same - even worse - it feels like it was designed to be frictionless, how the f@ck they thought to call it 'rubberized grip' is beyond me. This thing feels like ice. But warmer. And dry.
