higher CPI setting?
no no , for me it works best ~500CPI ( which is more 425CPI ) , ... LoD High and double stacked Hyperglide MX-3 Skatez ...
but if I set the CPI higher then 1000 , the pcs went really down ...

So I've just gotten one and shape really feels amazing.
Now I just wonder which fw is the best?
Looks like there are a lot of problems with every fw so should i even bother updating it?
Is there even a version that improves the mouse?

Looks as ugly as it sounds.

My xornet II sometimes skips while moving the cursor extremely slow, like it skips to a completely different area 1mm away. I'm using a clear icemat, could that be the cause?

Also no type-in manual dpi adjustment and you can only use predefined dpi with no 800 dpi. Man what shock, wish I had known that before buying. It's like realizing your new car doesn't have powered windows!

I'd imagine the icemat is the issue. Some LED based mice don't track too well on frosted glass.

Also, the 1000 step is roughly 880 due to the 0.8x magnification lens. That's the closest you'll get I'm afraid.

My X2 just came in the mail today. About to try it out. The original is my favorite mouse of all time thumb.gif

Not impressed. I installed the software to update the firmware. The software always asks me to plug in the mouse. I'll unplug it and plug it back in, it does nothing. Now the scroll wheel does't work and the led just blinks red.

Is there a fix?

Yep, that happened to me, too. Restart and try it again. That worked for me.

I've restarted several times. Nothing changed. I went back to the X1 for now and i'll mess with it more later. Very strange..

Use USBDeview to uninstall any inactive drivers. Any entry in the list that isn't green is usually inactive. However, sometimes an inactive driver will be linked to the active driver.
