I might have actually gotten offended by this if you hadn't ripped off what I was saying a page ago. 0/10.

Yet you called him lazy/impatient earlier, so by your own standards you have no more input in this discussion, so how about you exit stage left. You insulted his character before he insulted yours.

Luckily for me I have not had to use steams cs, but the few times I have used Origin's cs it has been fantastic and I am live chatting with someone usually within 15 seconds.

I do like a good debate, its a shame this one ended. I asked you to break it down for me earlier, if you can I will listen in earnest. Until then...

I never called him lazy/impatient. The position of his counter argument solution was to support a lazy/impatient consumer and slap the store on the wrist saying "bad store". I am happy to clarify that for you, as I think I have stated several times already.

Do you have any actual input for the discussion?

I added input to my edit five minutes before you posted this. I am just going to assume that you hit quote and were typing up reply's before I finished my input.

Maybe lazy isnt for you, impatient could be just another.

Embargo = suspect

Not sure why you would continue to dive in regardless

Pretty sure this quote is you calling him impatient.

Pretty sure this quote is you calling him impatient.

Like mentioned before, I was speaking to his argument. If I was insulting his character, you wouldnt be "pretty sure", you'd be reporting.

Yeah, I didnt see your edit.

How you said it, at least to me made it seem as you were calling "him" lazy/impatient verses how you meant, calling his "argument" that. I rarely if ever report just like I have never put a person on my ignore list, since it mainly kills future debates and discussions, and that is never fun biggrin.gif

Whenever there is "beef" DIYDeath is involved in it, would it be in this or the SC2 thread.

While my message may have been misinterpreted, admittedly this is day 3 of quitting cigarettes and may have been a little short with him, I assure you. It would be with certainty if I were to insult someone.

But otherwise, I agree for the most part, there are some, that just refuse to look at things from other perspectives.

Awful? Really? Because Steam support got 18,000% better for me this year. I bought CoD:Advanced Warfare and got 14 minutes of blackscreen, TERRIBLE tearing, blackscreen again because using the nvidia control panel causes it, still blackscreen when I re-disabled vsync and AA. I then closed the game. Uninstalled it, and asked Steam Support for a refund. They responded with a form to fill out which included a comments section, in which I explained that the game doesn't work and requested they forward my comments to Activison with the promise that I would not buy the game again until cofirmed they had patched it, and they then processed it and refunded my credit card. That is the BEST customer service program we can ask for.

Kids, take it from someone who was there in the days of the Apple II and the Commodore 64, it's not our job to jury-rig a game into barely working, it's the game devs responsibility to cook the game until it's actually done. If you have even the slightest issue with a Steam game don't screw with it, just GET A REFUND. Valve shares it's sales data with the devs that list on Steam, so I'm sure they now include REFUND DATA on their sales reports. DON'T SCREW WITH IT, JUST GET A REFUND.

Its really not that difficult. I've been searching up reviews since I was 17 on anything I had money for. Why? I wanted to ensure that I was happy with my purchase and that it would make for a worthwhile investment. Maybe coming from a lower income family taught me the value of an investment, who knows.

The issue here is the price involved is not high enough. If your car or house was faulty after purchase, you'd be pissed because the level of investment is much higher. A 50-70 USD game on the other hand, you'll feel the burn but ultimately you eat it and move on.

Coming from a lower income family I must state that we do not agree on this. If something I buy does not work I'm going to want my money back. This is true no matter the price. Unlike a game I'll walk all through a house many times before signing that final contract. If it doesn't work then I'm not buying.

I can't try a game out. Reviews don't know me and they certainly don't know if said game will work on my pc. If my pc meets the specs then the game should work. If not I'll want to return it.

I'm the type of person who'd call a fastfood place to corret a wrong order. Price doesn't matter. I want what I paid for.
