Thanks, I tough about it, but I don't mind playing an extra 100$ for a slightly better video card, plus I like the 8GB of the 390x.

What do you think of the Cooler Master G650M 650W 80+ Bronze Semi Modular - 60$ on sale, half price.

About the extra 4 gigs of memory. Not all games will use it. There is a whooping 4 frames difference in the vid. Also, if you get the hybrid drive you can get a larger monitor. Remember ssd's only help in loading the game faster, not running it. http://www.ncix.com/detail/benq-bl3200pt-32in-widescreen-va-d6-95044-1250.htm

Average unit with bad secondary caps, no doubt it's cheap. Also not fully modular. I'd still pick the G2. Miles better.

E: I mean it's not bad, it's just not amazing either. Better than the CX though.

Yea, I agree that at 1080p, the difference is barely visible, but I'm looking at 1440p gaming. From what I saw, at this resolution, the 390x 8GB is performing on par or even better than the GTX 980.

I post my nearly-final build. I want to thank you all for your feedback.

If you see any anomaly, compatibility issue or inappropriate component, please do not hesitate to tell me.

After much thought and reading many reviews, I decide to go with the Corsair PSU. I know this is a subpar PSU, but I had a hard time finding a modular PSU who will fit well in my case (many weren't modular or were over the standard 150mm x 86mm x 140mm). If I have any problem, I'll probably change it in a couple of years. That being said, I can still change my mind if anyone know a similar PSU who can fit in my case (for about 100$ CAN).

Thanks again everyone

It's a hit and miss, a lot of people bricked their 850s with the latest firmware and had to RMA it.

Guess I'm one of the lucky ones....without even knowing it

Are you opposed to switching to a MicroATX format? Mini-itx are the smallest, but also the most restrictive in terms of allowable psu size. Most stardard psu's will fit a MicroATX case. The size is not that much larger. You do not want a subpar psu.
