Probably just an issue with windows i would think. Usually its faster to just reinstall windows than just resolve the issue. Burn a windows iso to a disk, and boot from it and install.

Yep.
If a clean install of Windows and your VGA driver doesn't solve it, this will get pretty confusing.

EDIT:
Did you update to 10 from another version of windows?

Hey guys, sorry for not responding until now. I reinstalled it and everything is fine, I just wrote off Overclocking until I get those new 980's, because it seems no matter how small the overclock is and how well it does in Firestrike Extreme, it never stays stable with my games for very long. Temps are always below 70 and it will literally be consistently scoring the same as a desktop 980 sli setup in the 1440p FireStrike, but then I go and play a game, it will be running amazingly for 10-20 minutes and then it always freezes.

And a rather strange issue of my Windows reinstall is that my PC seems to have forgotten that deepdown, it is in fact a laptop. It only recognizes my Asus 1440p monitor as its' screen and if I unplug the monitor, it just stays black on the laptop screen. Any ideas? Maybe it's a driver I forgot to reinstall or something?

Update Windows 10 to update all your drivers.

Your GPU probably won't OC because:
Maxwell crashes when you are above stock and hit 70c. You can disable boost in the BIOS to keep that from happening. You have a laptop so it may be different. IDK.
My GPU wouldn't do +40 before I did it.

There are no 500W power supplies for laptops.

I have it right here. I believe it comes standard with a 350W PSU but Digital Storm gave me the option of a 500 Watter.

Hmmm. I'll have to try that. It sucks cause these cards are so stable when benchmarking an OC and they just kill it performance wise. I really want to be able to have it OC in a stable way cause these cards have proven how much more they have to give. Will report back.. Any suggestions for my screen problem?
