alright, got some decent info. GPUz was a bust, it wanted an admin PW to run the .exe.

But the nvidia control panel had good stuff:

Operating System: Windows 10 Pro, 64-bit
DirectX version: 12.0
GPU processor: GeForce GPU
Driver version: 354.15
Direct3D API version: 12
Direct3D feature level: 11_0
CUDA Cores: 384
Core clock: 954 MHz
Memory data rate: 5010 MHz
Memory interface: 64-bit
Memory bandwidth: 40.08 GB/s

Total available graphics memory: 5081 MB
Dedicated video memory: 1024 MB GDDR5
System video memory: 0 MB
Shared system memory: 4057 MB
Video BIOS version: 82.08.4D.00.01
IRQ: Not used
Bus: PCI Express x4 Gen3
Device Id: 10DE 134B 00081414
Part Number: 2702 0001
And here's the Web-GL benchmark run from edge.
http://imgur.com/8GkDnUh[1]
...which is looking like an unreliable number (edge is terrible at this apparently) My i7 SP3 gets 46.5k run from firefox.

So it has 1/4 the computing power of the 980M? Def not a gaming machine.

Looks to be the 940M. At least it uses GDDR5 instead of DDR3.

wait for next version to pump out a pascal gpu and hbm ;P then maybe it'll be worth it. but know ms something like that could prob reach the $6000 range as other surface have been more then 2 Titan x's.
That's a respectable GPU. I'm impressed. biggrin.gif

I mean, it's nothing amazing but it's a hell of a lot better than what's been in the earlier models.

SMM for SMM, it actually has more memory bandwidth than the 960, 980 and titan X. It just has only three SMM while those GPU's have 8, 16 and 24.

This level of GPU power is low - but it's respectable. Full performance nvidia drivers (haswell/skylake integrated graphics have terrible drivers! My friend has half as much FPS when CPU bound in sc2 using integrated, just from the driver performance) and enough GPU performance to play the lighter games like LoL and sc2 on competitive settings with very high levels of performance.
