I am sure there is a simple way to do that, but I haven't looked into it enough. They have no interest in doing stupid things on the internet and they spend about half their time on games and the other half watching people play games on youtube, so just turning off their network wouldn't work. Is there somethings specific I can block in the router or in game that I can do to block it without affecting anything else?

I don't know, my experience is with the PC version of the game. Can they just play single player maps in the portable version? I know you can rent private servers though the minecraft (mojang) website and those allow you to roll back the world so you can undo something one of your kids did. Does that work on the portable version? No clue.

Sorry, wish I could be more help.

It still wouldn't stop the problem of his kids griefing and fighting. It seems like minecraft isn't the game to get. Later today I'll pullout some of the games I played on Xbox when I was younger, granted I don't know how much kids taste has changed since 2006-2007.

My 7 year old is a blank slate, as other than a little wii he hasn't played on consoles.....so hopefully he won't become a screaming 13 year old jerk on voice chat of CoD.
