Ok so i have an EVGA GTX 680 FTW+ 4GB edition and i was under the impression that using EVGA precision or MSI afterburner i could do a light overclock. I cant seem to get my core clock to go past the 1084 stock. No matter what i set the off set to my core clock will not increase, although my memory clock will increase. From what ive seen around the web and here this is not normal for this card and the core clock should have a bit of head room. It does underclock when i put the offset negative just wont go over 1084. Im running the 80.4.47.0.82 BIOS on the GPU and didnt think i would need to flash a bios for a mild overclock. If i am misunderstanding please let me know because im confused about this.
