Finding a mouse with a flawless sensor and more than two thumb buttons turned out to be harder than I thought. Now I can't live without the convenience of all these extra buttons for controlling e.g. Winamp while gaming. The G-shift modifier almost doubles the amount of binds.

Wait, you got G-key bound to shift-alt-control and the likes??

Holy cow, it just gave me an idea.

Oh and, same mouse obviously biggrin.gif

It's just good. Nothing else to say. Heavy but good.

Currently switching between a IME 3.0 (X80) and WMO (X80 SS mod). But since I use the 3.0 much more, I'll just do that one:

IME 3.0
+Sensor feel (obviously)
+Perfect shape for me
+Neg accel

-Build quality (some mushy buttons, "grips" on right side of mouse aren't perfectly aligned with the rest of the shell but what are you gonna do ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
-Weight

I use the 3.0 a lot more than the WMO (from takasta) because the WMO has the RMB and LMB shifted over to the right by ~1mm. But I suppose that's to be expected with these mice, questionable build quality and all that. If that wasn't there and the WMO was wider and longer (and remained the same weight), I'd p much use that exclusively. But alas, the 3.0 size/shape is more comfortable for me. It would be nice if it weighed like the WMO though.

I also have a X06 3.0, which I suppose people generally think is (and X08) is better than newer models, but IMO the build quality of my X80 is generally better. The X06 has better shell construction (ie, alignment) but the X80 has much less squishy side buttons and a stiffer scroll wheel. RMB and LMB are approximately the same.

Not quite. Whenever I hold the G-shift key down, the rest of the buttons simply get a new set of binds. It works pretty much the same way as KB modifiers e.g. 1, CTRL+1, 2, CTRL+2 etc but it's not actually holding any CTRL, Shift or ALT keys down.
