Several nice options in this thread for potential builds. Just to give you an idea of potential performance, my current rig, (check my signature) was running the Star Wars Battlefront beta at 1080p Ultra, max AA, and never dropped below the mid 60's for FPS on the pod capture mode. In the Co-op mode, the frames were even higher.

My computer (just the tower) is about 1000 dollars give or take.

The Skylake build I ended up going with in my signature was $1,075 total.
