[ARS] Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P review: The true flagships of the Android ecosystem - Page 3

I'm excited, my att contract is about to end, and i'm gonna try out the new nexus with google fi, see how it compares to my normal bill, only slightly less than my att bill for less data, but i don't mind the idea of trying something new and leaving a big carrier.

The 6P is the only phone where the 810 doesn't throttle and performs as advertised. It can even record unlimited 4k. I wonder how they achieved that? I guess that's what all the steel is for. Even Xperia Z5 is having trouble despite the heatpipes.

I got the 5X, just in time to replace my N5 with a cracked screen.

I would never get a Huawei phone, no matter how premium it looks. I have a feeling that I wont be the only one turned off by Huawei.

so I have verizon, and really need a new phone. the Nexus 6P seems pretty legit. I have an iPhone now but I think I'm done with Apple and their 16GB entry lvl phone that is 80% full after taking 5 pictures...so the only other contenders are Galaxy S6 and HTC M9 right?
Nexus is so late now and not as cheap as it used to be. You can buy LG G4 for cheap at this point. If we compare Nexus 5 and Galaxy S4 it had better SOC but now S6 is bettet then even 6P

Do you really need all the data you use though? But even if you pay a bit more all the other benefits are nice such as using both T-Mobile and Sprints network. Plus this is great too:

How much credit will I get back for unused data?
If your data usage at the end of the month is less than your data budget, you'll get a credit for approximately one cent per MB. For example, if your data budget is 2GB and you use 1.265GB, you'll get a $7.35 credit.
