In the mean time if I pair a Geforce with a Radeon GPU for DX12, will Gsync still work? biggrin.gif

I don't understand how DX 12 works by adding a AMD + Nvidia gpu. Sounds good except I don't have any DX 12 games ,,,yet. My 285 GPU score is about the same as my GTX 690. Sounds good. If Microsoft can get the dogs and cats to work together, I may pull one one of the 285 crossfires and try it.

I may even buy another Nvidia card for the olde lady's box. If it works could be a win, win, for all three. May even be a offsetting good reason to migrate to Win 10.

DX12 works by doing the basics of AFR or Alternate Frame Rendering... Basically each GPU is assigned with a frame to render independently.

Looks like Microsoft is determined in making Red and Green team to work together for a better future.
