Ah yea thanks for summing that up.

I think i will just take the one with the most sells.

EDIT: bought from "electro-accessories"

I will tell how the build quality of these is as soon as it arrives.

they are fake bought one from electro-accessories and one from electronic_deal.

They are the same company. Emails I received from them were identical, packaging was identical. Mice are identical one was damaged.

They have all the signs of a fake the letters in Microsoft are't right, mouse feet are different, mouse wheel has more play, LED is way too bright, no Microsoft sticker, general fitting of the shell is worse and they don't show up as a Microsoft product in the device manager.

Sensor feels worse than original but the buttons are actually quite ok.

.

If you bought it off Ebay go and get a refund immediately.

Never tolerate second rate copies done badly because that lets them get away with selling that type of junk to the unwary.

Yup if it's indeed a fake, go refund that thing immediately. I agree with Elrick. The reason these companies keep getting away with selling fake ***** is because people keep buying it, and don't have the information or knowledge to be able to discern if it's fake or genuine, they just assume it is genuine because the seller said so.

Also, maybe if anyone knows a legitimate seller who sells legitimate IEs and WMOS -- maybe post a link here. One of the main reasons why I never bought an ie 3.0 was because I didn't know a legit place to get one.

Most second hands on eBay are legitimate. Just ask the seller to take a picture of the bottom and look for either x06/x08 and a genuine sticker. Steer clear of purchasing the x80 because Microsoft stopped producing them with genuine stickers in 2011 so it's more difficult to verify authenticity. If you are unsure, post the pictures here in overclock as there are a handful of MLT04 users here, myself included.

And definitely stay away from "electro-accessories" I bought two IMO1.1 from them. Something felt off about the product so I opened it up to find this:

I notified them and they issued a refund the next day, once I had proof that the product was being mailed back.

That's kinda sad.
How difficult would it be for them to put in a decent sensor?
