i bought 4 real 3.0s pm me i know a seller from Washington state he works for Microsoft with me

I bought one from here :

http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Microsoft-IntelliMouse-Explorer-Legends-Edition-3-0-Mouse-/311305057865?hash=item487b3a3649:g:6UoAAOSwEeFU8M2d

I can assure You that it is genuine IE 3.0, i bought this one for backup for my current IE 3.0.
Yes, it is expensive and sending also was not cheap (i live in Europe) but it was worth it.

I actually have a Miorosoft IMO 1.1 too. Strangely, while the boards were Miorosoft and the shell wasn't MS quality, it actually has MS parts for the sensor assembly. It's a strange hybrid of fake and real; it's even detected as an MS mouse and it actually seems to have the performance characteristics of an MLT04 mouse. I'm not really certain why someone would make a mostly counterfeit mouse...I mean, why not just put some random cheapo sensor too rather than the real parts? My posts regarding it:

I got a refund for it, and they just told me to keep the mouse since I opened it so they couldn't resell it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You could get a wmo:

Had no problems with takastas goods before, though I have only bought mouse feet. You should be good with one of these, choose your prefered coating and colour and you're done.

Hey, thanks for the info.
And according to this site http://watchmono.com/blog-entry-3621.html, i got a "fake" aswell. But its definitely an MLT04 with omrons. The build quality of the shell and button travel are not that bad either.
Not even sure if this site, watchmono, is really about fake vs legit IEs (can someone confirm this?) or rather about different kinds of legit IE 3.0s.(?)

edit: the grey stock feet SUCK though, they could have used sandpaper instead and it would glide better.
luckily i had actual PTFE feet..

Got 5 WMOs already^^, thanks.
Wanted to test the IE or a mouse with MLT04 with omrons and sidebuttons.
