Nice one. You don't mess around! smile.gif

Anyway, here's the 850W EVGA SuperNOVA G2 for $117.89 after a $20 rebate: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-220g20850xr

It's overkill, but will be more than enough for two 290Xs or an equivalent.

I have that PSU.

I can fully stand behind it and recommend it with full honors lol.

TONS of upgradability. Looks nice and runs very quiet

When using a dGPU with Kaveri, you'll probably get the same CPU performance from:

DDR3-1600 CL6
DDR3-1866 CL7
DDR3-2133 CL8
DDR3-2400 CL9
DDR3-2666 CL10

The first four settings are attainable without bclk overclocking. The last one is not. Overclocking via bclk is . . . odd at best on FM2+. I would not recommend it unless you are prepared to base your entire build around that strategy. For your purposes, there is almost no reason to go down that road, when DDR3-2400 CL9 or DDR3-1600 CL6 would be perfectly adequate. If you push hard and get the right kit, you might even hit DDR3-1600 CL5. I've heard of that happening before, but I have never pulled it off myself.

Officially up to 2133MHz, 2400MHz by OC.
Anything higher (achievable by overclocking the BCLK) won´t ever be realiable.

so just get some good ddr3 2400 ram?

2400MHz capable, dual rank (doubled sided) to be exact.
Most new 4GB modules are single rank / sided nowdays, as 2Gb ICs are becoming EOL.

Single rank modules at 2400MHz are almost exactly as fast as double rank modules at 2133MHz.

If you push 1.7v through that stuff you might hit DDR3-2400 CL9 or DDR3-2133 CL8
